Notes:1988 – John Hurst: We have a number of yews around the church. The largest grows near the entrance to the south porch. Girth was 11′ 3” (343cm) at 3′ and 11′ 11”(363cm) at 4′. On a letter dated May 4th 1988 Meredith has written 300 years, but on a letter dated My 18th 1988, in which the measurements are given he has suggested 380 years and a certificate for this number of years was sent to the church.
