Notes:March 2000 Tim Hills: There is probably about a third remaining of what was once a substantial tree. To reflect this the yew is in the 5m-7m category. In spite of its considerable lean it gives the appearance of great strength and has not needed to be propped. Girth was 12′ 4” (376cm) at the ground.

September 2021 Tim Hills: A girth of about 13′ (396cm) recorded close to the ground is unreliable – elder and holly prevented taping close to the trunk.
