Notes:

This is a unique collection of 150 clipped yew trees, of which most are over 200 years old. The avenue stretches for about 500 metres. Topiary was first carried out in 1870 and the trees are now clipped each autumn by ‘the Forestry Commission’s local craftsmen’.
