Notes:Tree 6 in Peter Norton’s survey, a significant male tree is found at SU7554114335. It is a fine specimen complete with an internal stem 1′ in diameter. It is one of the largest girthed I have come across in a woodland environ on the southdowns – so an important find. I saw 13 yews of note in the range 12′ and 20′.
