Notes:

Two yews are clearly visible from the road along the northern perimeter and according to church records were planted in 1845. The Taxus baccata L. which grows near to the churchyard entrance had a girth of 11’ 11” (363cm) at the ground. Above ground level is a large protrusion which would distort further recordings. The tree then divides into two main branches. Measured at 1′ above the point of separation they had girths of 7’ and 6’ 2”. It would appear to have been planted a century or more earlier than the date stated in church records.
The second yew is an Irish Yew.
