Notes:A hollow yew, growing near to the edge of Biddlesgate Copse, and would have stood on the edge of Yew Tree Copse, which was grubbed out during the Second World War for arable. Perhaps there were once old or ancient yews here, giving rise to the name Yew Tree Copse. In 2011 it was observed that a thrush had been using part of the trunk as an anvil to break snail shells, of which there was a large pile. There was also a hoard of hazel nuts eaten by a grey squirrel.
