Notes:

The yew is on the National Trust Estate, though public footpaths appear to pass close to the tree, which grows at the eastern edge of the hillfort. It is tree number 190870 in the Ancient Tree Inventory and was recorded by Gareth Bowen, a Woodland Trust Volunteer. He described holes or water pockets, hollowing branches and decaying wood on the ground and in the crown.
