Notes:The yews are seen in 2012, 2018 and 2023. When Wiltshire’s planning department was questioned about the treatment of these yews, their response of 23rd June 2012 was that since the trees had been historically pollarded they should respond well to the works which have taken place. Other yews in this area, at Bromham, Beanacre and Upton Lovell have been similarly treated. There surely is a better way?
