Source of earliest mention: 2004: www.genuki.org
Notes:October 2004 – Tim Hills: A fluted yew east of the church surrounded by a seat. An outporing of branches from a height of 8′ give it a fine appearance. Girth of 12′ 6” (381cm) was recorded at the top of the seat.
2018 Paul Wood: Tree D on the plan, it was measured at a height of 60cm as in 2004 and a girth of 13′ 1” (399cm) was recorded. The foliage of this yew was very yellow compared to the other yews in this churchyard. It seemed to me that the wood of the yew is fast approaching the metal work of the seat that surrounds it, so that it is only cms away in places. Perhaps thought should be given to making the seat circumference larger.
