Notes:

Described in the Lewis’s 1848 Topographical Dictionary as a ‘very aged yew-tree’.
In the 1868 National Gazetteer it is ‘an old yew tree in the churchyard of unusual size’.
The 1891 Kelly’s Directory described a ‘grand old yew tree’.
September 2005 – Tim Hills: A hollow yew with 4′ of decaying material and internal growth. The tree now touches a tombstone placed close to it in the early 1800s.
