Notes:The yew here is number 54 on the Tree Register of Ireland’s website. We are told it was measured by Samuel Hayes in 1794 and is mentioned in his book called Practical Treatise on Trees. Was it one of the ‘good yews’ he reported? It has a height of 14m and a girth of 4.37m.
