Notes:

In around 1944 Rev AC Crookshank sent a girth of 21′ to Vaughan Cornish.
May 1999 -Tim Hills: A fluted and knobbly bole, visible all round. Girth was 22′ 1” (673cm) at 18” and 21′ 7” (658cm) at just below 5′.
March 2014 – Peter Norton: Girth of 22′ 5” (683cm) at about 6” from the ground (side furthest from the church). The pump reveals that this is also the site of a well or spring.
