Notes:1998 and 2011 – Tim Hills: Tree 17 on the plan had a girth of close to 15′ at the ground in 2011. 2016 – Paul Wood: Tree 17 is a yew with much twiggy growth filling out the bole around most of its girth. An opening at the base on the south side of this yew shows it to be quite hollow with two quite substantial internal stems appearing well rooted. This tree was barely troubled by the wind unlike its neighbours.
