Notes:

March 2014 – Cliff Hansford: Although unremarkable in size, this is an example of a yew breaking free from its caged protection, having outgrown it a long time ago. It is found at the west end of the church and it will be interesting to see what happens to it as the years pass. At the top of the ‘cage’, three feet from the ground, it seperates into five limbs. In so doing it has created a basin-like centre into which debris is now gathering. A broken branch continues to support leaf growth.
