Notes:

A tall, solid yew with little spread. Girth was 14′ 6” (442cm) at the ground and 16′ 6” ((503cm) at 4′. A bole of about 8′, half of it obscured behind ivy.
The yew has been recorded in Hutchins (1796-1815) as a ‘magnificent yew-tree in the churchyard’ and in a later edition (1861-1873) as ‘a very old and large yew-tree’.
In 1954 Swanton recorded a girth of 446cm at 1m.
