August 1999 – Tim Hills: A hollow yew growing close to the church extension and south porch. A good example of a yew in the process of becoming two fragment trees. A girth of 21′ 6” (655cm) was recorded close to the ground just above bulging roots, and 23′ 3” (709cm) at about 4′.
December 2008 – Barry Saich: Village churchyard, which has been increased in size over the years, contains 1 very old yew, a 2nd multi-trunked tree, and 4 others which flank the large memorial to the Hambro family.
The oldest and largest (girth 22′ 2” – 676cm – at the ground) grows on the south side of the church. At one time there were 5 trunks, there are now three, with one of these dividing into two at 8′. Height of tree 36′ 7”.
