Notes:October 1986 – Revd J.Daryll Evans: A girth of 429cm (14′ 1”) recorded at 100cm (Churchyard Yews of Gwent).
July 2002 Tim Hills: A girth of 13′ 9” (419cm) at 1′.
November 2021 Tim Hills: The yew grows SE of the church, close to the path leading to the building. It stands within a circular wall which is cracking in places as the tree continues to expand. Girth was 14′ 2½” (433cm). More than half of its bole is of dead wood, while the other side produces some good foliage. The photos are misleading as much of the foliage seen belongs to its yew neighbour. At the ends of most of the dead looking branches were small patches of growth. A holly tree has germinated several feet up in the tree.
