Notes:To the north of the church are ‘two very picturesque and antique yews, coevals, male and female, probably 6 or 700 years old’ (1862 article). In A History of the County of Buckingham: Volume 3, originally published by Victoria County History, London in 1925, we are told that in the large churchyard ‘there are two ancient yew trees’. The male has been lost since then.
