Notes:

November 1998 – Tim Hills: An exceptional shape – 24′ 0” (732cm) at the ground, 16′ 9” (511cm) at 2′ and 22′ 5” (683cm) at 5′. Little evidence of hollowing.
January 2003 – Russell Cleaver: Fine tree with arching branches to the ground. Girth over 20′ (6m) at chest height.
November 2006 – Tim Hills: 16′ 9” (511cm) again recorded at the tree’s narrowest point at a height of 2′.
October 2007 – Ian Robert Brown: A female yew with many branches reaching the ground. No signs of hollowing. An abundance of new growth throughout the tree with thick foliage. Looks to be in very good condition. Signs of recent pruning (some unnecessary) but the tree looks mostly un-interfered with. There is a pump which works just underneath the skirt of the tree suggesting it is growing next to a spring.
