Notes:

Tim Hills 2002: The yew grows on a small mound with a wall around it. Of two parallel rising stems, one is alive, while the other is dead and truncated at a height of about 18′. Attempts have been made to chain the two stems together. It is possible that these might be the remains of a once larger tree, but as yet there is no evidence to confirm this.
Luke Steer 2015: An ancient yew with trunk diameter of 102cm: Height 12.3m: Crown spread North – 3.2m: East – 6.2m: South – 6.2m: West – 4.6m: SE – 5.7m: SW – 5.4m. Health class – Normal Vitality (the best).
