Notes:A fallen dead yew. Ancient Tree Hunt 61164 at NZ 0546 0556. Tony Burgoyne, who verified trees in this area for ATH, considers that this tree is conjoined with the living tree. Its petrified roots can be followed through the limestone from one tree to the other. The supple, living roots can be felt in the narrow cracks in the rock.
