Girth height: at 120cm

Notes:

This male yew has a bole that is fluted on one side and gnarly on the other, following the removal of branches. There is a small amount of twiggy growth all over the bole and a small area of rot is visible at the top where the centre appears to be beginning to hollow. The thick foliage is yellowy green rather than a deep green colour. The tree otherwise looked healthy. Its smallest girth was recorded at a height of 1.20m as 12′ 1” (3.68m). The tree is larger below this height.
