Notes:November 2005 – Tim Hills: The largest yew here grows ESE, a hollow three-quarter shell with a girth of 13′ 8” (417cm) at about 1′. It is many branched above a height of about 10′. The hollow never grows together and there are branches all around this shell. An extended piece of the original trunk juts upwards in the centre of the tree.
September 2015 – Paul Wood: Tree 6 on the plan. We found it as described in 2007 and seemingly growing well. The long grass hid briars and other obstructions. Measured as before at 1′ we recorded a slightly smaller girth of 13′ 6” (411cm).
