Notes:November 2005 – Tim Hills: The yew grows NE, with a girth of 12′ 6′ (381cm) close to the ground.
September 2015 – Paul Wood: Tree 5, as with all the yews at Knighton, was plastered in ivy, which had to be cleared to take an accurate measurement. It has a solid bole rising to about 5′, from where five main and many smaller branches radiate. We measured at its visible narrowest point 2” above the ground and recorded 12′ 6” (381cm). The tree, which grows on a small mound, looked in good health.
