Notes:Two old yews have been recorded at this site.
Between 2000 and 2005 Aubrey Fennell recorded the following girths: 540cm at 1m and 446cm at 1m.
2009: The larger, recorded here, has a girth of 5.42 in 2009. The smaller had a girth of 4.45. The site is numbered 603 by the Tree Register of Ireland, where it states that the yew is believed to be associated with the monastic site. This would seem quite plausible.
