March 2003 – Tim Hills: Knole’s largest and oldest yew, growing on the hilltop of a dry valley that runs through the golf course. A bulky and solid looking tree with thick foliage and branches that reach the ground on the downward slope. TQ54815432. 2008 – Recorded for the Ancient Tree Hunt as 622cm at 20 cm (20′ 5” at 9”).
