1999 – Tim Hills: Yew 5 on the plan. I recorded a girth of 18′ 6” (564cm) at 1′ in 1999 and 18′ 2” (554cm) at the ground in 2002. Much of its root structure has been undermined by burrowing. Most of its growth feeds into a main central branch while large angled branches growing at the edges of the tree have fallen.
2023 – Mike Squire Ancient Tree Inventory. Girth of 4.8m (15′ 9”) at 1m recorded.
