Notes:

June 2000 – Tim Hills: Tree 1 on the plan and on the right in the first photo, grows SW of the church. Tiles stored against the trunk prevented measurement at the ground. A hole at 3′ marks where a branch has been removed. A large area of white old sapwood is gradually being covered by new growth. On the church side it can be seen that the inside is decaying. The hollow being created rises to a height of about 12′. When decay is complete the tree will have developed a thickened horse shoe shaped shell. 19′ 3” (587cm) at 2′ recorded.
2015 – Paul Wood: The tree is as reported in 2000 with the exception of the tiles, which have been removed. Girth of 19′ 6” (594cm) was recorded at a height of 2′.
2022 – Tim Hills: A girth of 19′ 11” (607cm) recorded at 2′.
