Notes:August 1998 – Tim Hills: Tree 1 on the plan, SSE of the church. A portion of the tree is about to become detached, reducing girth by about 3′ 6”. Many large branches.
August 1999 Tim Hills: Girth of 26′ 1” (795cm) at the ground recorded.
September 2015 – Paul Wood : There has been a considerable encroachment of ivy over the ground around the tree as well as in the tree. Girth was recorded at the ground over the ivy and 26′ 6” (808cm) was recorded.
