Tree girth: No data
Girth height: not measured
Tree sex: unspecified
Date of visit: 18-Apr-98
Source of earliest mention: 1970: Brecon Yew Survey
Notes:April 1998 – Tim Hills: The 1970 Brecon Yew Survey recorded trees as follows: 28′, 17′, 16′ 6′ and 10′ 6”. The trees that remain could account for the latter three, though I recorded much smaller girths. It is possible that for the survey the trees were measured at a height of 5′, the standard of that time. It would seem that it is the 28′ yew that is lost.
