Notes:Tree 7, growing NE of the church, is for the moment an area where churchyard rubbish is deposited. A third of its bole girth is dead with much of the original trunk still visible. When this decays it will leave a horse shoe hollow tree. Its interior has suffered fire/smoke damage. Ivy was so copious in 2002 that it could almost have been mistaken for an ivy tree.
In 1984 Reg Wheeler recorded a girth of 496cm at 30cm (16′ 3” at 1′).
