Llanmerewig

The Clwyd/Powys Archaeological Trust described ‘a ring of eight yews set just within the boundary on the east, north and west; 19th century yews and rhododendron bushes line the south path’.
In 2001 I noted ten yews in the churchyard, mainly on the north side. The largest was closest to the church gate and had a girth in the region of 12′.
