Notes:

February 2000 – Tim Hills: Tree 2 on the plan. Below the measurement point are spreading roots, and above is trimmed adventitious growth. Through the centre of this rises the original trunk, now a sapwood skeleton around which the new tree has developed. A girth of 12′ 4” (376cm) at the lowest point was recorded.
July 2016 – Paul Wood: Twiggy growth hides most of the inner sections of the bole, along with thick ivy. Foliage was thin. Measured at the ground a girth of 384cm (12′ 7”) was recorded.
