Notes:This remarkable tree has recovered and developed unstoppable new growth from the two pieces of substantial stump that were left when the tree was chopped down. These are only 5m from the building and a similar distance from a nearby house. Girth around these two stumps of 27′ illustrates that this was a very large tree. If two further pieces of stump cut off close to the ground prove to be yew and were part of the original tree, its girth would have been closer to 37′.
