Notes:W of church and close to wall. Though not one of the largest girthed, this yew is columnar in form and retains its girth for a considerable height.
Reg Wheeler recorded a girth of 540cm (17′ 8”) at 3′ 3” in 1983. He recorded it as female, we considered it to be male.
In 1998 we recorded an approximate girth of 19′ 6″.
