2017 – Peter Norton described its unusual shape as a straight trunk emerging from the ground and after about 2′ spreading in a bulbous manner. He recorded a girth of 13′ 8” (417cm) at 1′.
2020 – Ancient Tree Inventory recorded a girth of 417cm at 30cm.
