Notes:Two large yews have been removed from this site. We were told that the first was removed in the 1930s. What remains above ground is shown in the first two photographs. Other evidence suggests that this was formerly an immense tree. A little further to the south are the remains of what was possibly a twin trunked yew, seen in photographs 3 and 4.
