Notes:Two yews on the south side of the hill fort, close to one of the entrances. They grow next to each other on a precipitous slope where erosion means that each trunk emerges a foot from the ground standing on a maze of roots. To the other side of the gap, at the bottom of the slope is a split yew, the fallen half dead, the other remains attached to the fractured bole and lives.
