Notes:Tim Hills – August 1998: Tree 1 on the plan grows south of the church on a mound. Three great branches rise from a low bole. Build up of humus around tree almost swallows tombstones. A thick cover of ivy. Girth about 25′.
September 2006 – Girth close to the ground reduced to approx 22′ with collapse of one of the three branches.
May 2017 Paul Wood: Yew 1 in excellent condition with much growth and deep green foliage. The bole is reddish in colour. The area around the yew was blanketed with ivy and small amounts were encroaching on the tree’s lower parts. Girth at the ground of 22′ 7” (6.88m) slightly exaggerated by the ivy.
