Notes:The yew grows SE of the church. With a girth of about 30′, it is surprising that it has not been discovered before. It is a gargantuan tree, with massive limbs. It is possible to access the centre of the tree and see close up some of its unique features. A section of sapwood at the entrance to this space is loose and unlikely to be a feature for much longer.
