Notes:March 1999 – Tim Hills: WNW – Separated into two, a rod is bolted to both fragments to prevent further separation. Each fragment is itself substantial. Girth around both fragments was 24′ 5” (744cm) in 2013, measured close to the ground at the height of an embedded nail. Around both fragments at a height of 3′, a girth of 27′ 0” (823cm) was recorded in both 1999 and 2013.
Each fragment is substantial; girth around the larger fragment in 2013 was 17′ 0” (520cm) at 3′ and around the smaller fragment was 14′ 0” (427cm) at 3′. Each fragment supports two areas of growth with much branching.
