Notes:September 2012 – Tim Hills: Tree C is hollow with internal growth touching the inside of the tree. Soil has build up against the trunk almost to the top of wall height. The tree was measured over copious ivy. Girth of about 17′ (518cm) recorded.
November 2015 – Paul Wood: Tree C grows adjacent to the churchyard gate. Ivy removed and was able to measure level with the top of the bank by the wall and round under the bulge on the church side, recording 16′ 10” (513cm). Some of the churchgoers I spoke with regarded the tree as the pride and joy of the local community.
