Tree ID: 1915
Yews recorded: Notable
Tree girth: 370cm
Girth height: at 20cm
Tree sex: female
Date of visit: 10-Sep-04
Source of earliest mention: 1995: Clwyd Powys Archaeological Trust
Notes:September 2004 -Tim Hills: Number 2 on the plan, the younger of the two yews. It is as seen in the photos, with a girth of 11′ 8” (356cm) at 1′.
2018 – Paul Wood: The yew was measured at a height of 8” (20cm) where its smallest girth was found to be 12′ 2” (3.70m). In three places it was possible to see that this yew is hollowing in the centre. The many limbs that emanate from the bole at 8′ to 10′ are quite stout, but short in length with sparse foliage. I noted that the ivy seen in 2015 had been removed.
