October 2005 – Russell Cleaver: At Old Winchester Hill Lane (SU642221) on the wooded slopes above the road verge are several open grown yews. The largest, with branches feathered to its base, had a girth of 14′ 5” (439cm) at the ground.
May 2010 – Peter Norton: The largest girthed yews recorded at this site were about 12′.
