Notes:April 2008 – Dean Loftus: The smaller tree, little more than a fragment, has a girth of 7′ 3”. Though it has suffered considerable fire damage it is showing new foliage growth and seems quite healthy. Fragments of decaying wood in the soil nearby seem to indicate that a full trunk on this yew was once about 16′ in circumference.
