Notes:The yew was described thus: ‘deserving of notice, on account of its singular form and great size. It has no fewer than nine stems, all nearly of equal thickness; the diameter of the ground which it covers with its boughs is 40 feet; and the circumference of course is about 120. It has been long known by the name of the Raploch bush’.
