Notes:The yew grows above the road at the west perimeter of the churchyard. There is a hollow at the road with an internal stem revealed, but the overall impression is of a big, solid, gnarly old tree, which retains enormous girth for a considerable height. Large pieces of jagged sapwood can be seen high into the tree, which has had much branch removal. Thick stems of ivy, which probably once inundated the tree, had been cut through. It was not possible to measure this yew, but 6.50m is a good estimate.
