Notes:

The yew is hollow, with a gap created by the removal of a branch a long time ago. A large internal stem appears to be attached to the tree’s inner surface. A cherry tree of considerable size has rooted in the yew and its foliage stands out against the foliage of the yew. The spreading roots mean that the tree occupies a large space. Girth was 6.22m (20′ 5”) at 50cm and 6.18m (20′ 3”) at 100cm.
