Notes:An unusual yew, with a ‘seat cut into its base’. The seat can be found on the side facing the church. Girth around the base including the seat is almost 18′. A girth of 14′ 2” (432cm) excludes the seat while girth at its narrowest point is just under 10′. As well as being pollarded at a height of about 15′, it also bulges considerably at about 5’/8′ following branch removal.
