March 2006 – Cliff Hansford: There are many yews in this woodland still to be recorded. Two are noted here, both female; the first, seen by many visitors, is signposted. It girths about 15′ 6” (472cm) at 3′ and is found at TQ 680698.
The second (TQ 6879970499), girths about 12′ (366cm) at 2′ 6” and grows on a small embankment.
2014 – Ancient Tree Hunt: Their records contain the following information:
Yew at TQ6859870602 with a girth of 507cm (16′ 8”) at 0.2.
Yew at TQ6861170628 with a girth of 474cm (15′ 7”) at 0.2.
Yew at TQ6858970544 with a girth of 470cm (15′ 5”) at 0.2.
The 4th was recorded in 2009 at TQ6805970200 with a girth of 460cm (15′ 1”) at 1.3m
